Cleanroom Lint-Free Wipes — Polyester and Microfiber for Critical Surface Wiping
Product Description
When a Standard Wipe Becomes a Contamination Source
In a Class 100 cleanroom or wafer fab, a single cotton fiber shed from a cleaning wipe can cost more than the wipe itself. Standard paper towels and cotton rags are contamination disasters in these environments. Our cleanroom lint-free wipes are engineered for the opposite outcome: they remove contaminants without contributing any of their own.
Two material options serve different needs:
100% Polyester wipes — ultrasonic-sealed edges, no loose fibers, excellent solvent compatibility (IPA, acetone, ethanol). Ideal for wafer fab work, optical surface cleaning, and any application using cleaning solvents.
Microfiber wipes — split polyester/polyamide construction, ultra-fine fiber structure for superior particle pickup and surface conformity. Ideal for dry wiping, surface preparation, and applications requiring maximum absorbency.

FAQ
Q: How do I choose between polyester and microfiber?
Use polyester when you will wet the wipe with cleaning solvents — polyester is chemically inert. Use microfiber for dry surface preparation where you need maximum particle pickup.
Q: Are these wipes sterilized?
Standard packaging is clean but non-sterile. Gamma-irradiated sterile packaging is available as a special order.
Q: What is the difference between sealed-edge and cut-edge wipes?
Cut-edge wipes shed fibers from the cut edges, which is unacceptable in cleanrooms. Our sealed-edge wipes use ultrasonic welding to fuse the edges.
