Engineered for Workers Around Live Electrical Hazards
Electricians, utility linemen, substation workers, and industrial maintenance crews operate around live circuits where a single grounded contact can be fatal. Standard safety shoes are not enough — they need EH (Electrical Hazard) rated footwear with an insulating sole capable of withstanding open-circuit contact with up to 18,000 volts at 60 Hz for one minute, dry.
Our EH safety shoes are engineered to meet the performance criteria of ASTM F2413 EH specifications. The insulating PU outsole is bonded to a moisture-resistant upper that prevents conductive contamination from compromising the electrical barrier. A steel toe (or optional composite toe) provides 200J impact protection without breaching insulation.
Important: Different from ESD Footwear
EH and ESD are opposite electrical functions and should not be confused:
- EH (Electrical Hazard): Insulating — prevents current flow through the wearer. For electricians.
- ESD (Electrostatic Dissipative): Conductive — safely drains static charge to ground. For cleanrooms and electronics.
Wearing the wrong type can cause serious injury or product damage. We manufacture both — please confirm your application before ordering.

Q: Can these be used in wet environments?
